Voluntary AEMT Accreditation: An Update on the Process (23-COAE-F1-9629)

The CoAEMSP is developing the processes to provide voluntary accreditation services to AEMT programs; this is no secret. The CoAEMSP is responding to language in the 2019 NHTSA National EMS Scope of Practice calling for CAAHEP accreditation of AEMT programs by 2025. Feedback from the national EMS community is vital to assisting the implementation process if approved and adopted.
